Site of Former Oizumi Village Office

Oizumi Village was born in 1891 by an annexation of several villages. A two-story wooden village office building, built in 1922, used to be here. There is a monument at the southwest corner of the park that says "Commemoration of the construction of Oizumi Village office building." The official work of the village was conducted here until Oizumi Village was incorporated in Itabashi City in 1932.
