This fujizuka is 12m high and 30m in diameter. It is presumed to have been built in the late 19th century, however, as there is a stone monument from the early 19th century at the mound, it may date back to then. The first day of the climbing season is celebrated every year on August 1.

Fujizuka
A fujizuka is a small mound in the shape of Mt. Fuji. When worshipping Mt. Fuji was popular in the Edo period, people made replicas so that they can climb Mt. Fuji locally. Many people visit the fujizuka as it is said that it brings you the same luck as climbing the real Mt. Fuji.
